Affairs are prevalent but rarely talked about relationships. The podcast, Cheating: When Love Lies, is a deep dive into the complex emotions surrounding these secret unions.
Creator and host, Jillian Hamilton, delves into this taboo topic and asks the hard questions about affairs: how common are they, who’s having them, and why? These questions illicit unexpected answers that reveal both men and women as people actively seeking something – validation, escape, understanding, vengeance, thrill, love, sex, and romance – outside of marriage or committed partnerships. Cheating: When Love Lies resists the condemnation of affairs as uniquely wrong or bad and instead considers their usefulness in learning as much about relationships as we learn about our ourselves.
On the podcast, Jillian Hamilton narrates short fictional stories about cheating based on true life events. The narration is followed by a roundtable discussion with everyday people who share their unique perspectives. Jillian also interviews cheaters and betrayed partners. These interviews are raw and real-and at times maddening or heartbreaking.
Listen now to Cheating: When Love Lies. Are you ready for the truth?

About Show
Grief is a Sneaky Bitch creator and host Lisa Keefauver brings her deep curiosity, love of conversation, and knowledge of how language and culture shapes our experiences of ourselves and our world (including our grief) to each unscripted conversation. From thought leaders, CEO’s and social workers to authors, educators, researchers, filmmakers and stay-at-home moms, her guests open up about the complexity, confusion, and even confidence they have gained by navigating a grief journey of their own.
And in case you’re new to the show, yes this is a podcast all about grief. She and her guests explore the expansiveness and pervasiveness of grief in our lives, because let’s face it, 100% of us experience grief, multiple times in our lives. Lisa witnessed it time and time again in her career as a social worker and in her personal life too with the most significant loss being her husband in 2011. And yet, individually, and collectively, we’re so grief-illiterate and that is causing us all harm. So, she’s on a mission to reimagine grief, one conversation at a time. So glad you’re joining us.

Zayd Dohrn was born underground – his parents were radicals and counter-culture outlaws, on the run from the FBI. Now Zayd takes us back to the 1970s, when his parents and their young friends in the Weather Underground Organization declared war on the United States government. They brawled with riot cops on the streets of Chicago, bombed the Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol, broke comrades out of prison, and teamed up with Black militant groups to rob banks, fight racism – and help build a revolution.

This podcast dives into a little more detail on many climate change subjects and related issues. We cover government policy at all levels (past present and future), personal effects you can have, specific technology and investment opportunities, and more.
Each post goes “one layer deeper” to build a body of original and accessible research on relevant subjects, rather than simply a re-post of existing web content. Facts and assertions have their sources linked whenever possible, so that you can easily verify the material.
This podcast is still young! Your thoughts and feedback are most welcome.
P.S. Although so far climate is the main content piece, I hope to at some point tell some fun tales of clandestine piano parties. Going into the details, of course 🙂
